Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first Christmas Contest for the www.icavalieridellozodiaco.net forum

The contest is made of two categories, fanfics and fanart, and its topic is "Christmas in Asgard"

Those who want to take part, have to send their works by e-mail to Aledileo by Sunday the 21st of December at midnight. The prize giving will take place the following week.

Rules:

- The fanfics / fanart have to be unpublished
- Works arleady published on other websites or forums will not be accepted
- The fanfics and fanarts can be serious or humorous, and have one or more characters, as long as they are about the Contest's topic
- The fanfics can be stories or poems, as the author prefers. They should not be more than 15 pages long, with font Times New Roman 14

After the deadline, all the works are going to published in the forum, so that everyone who wants to can see and comment them. The works will be evaluated by Aledileo and Shiryu. The two winners, one for each group (fanfic and fanart), will be named[ b]Winners of the first forum's Contest[/b] and receive a small prize.

Dear Saint Seiya fans,
I'd like to spend some words to thank all the fans that have taken part in our contest. It was the first, and we hope not the last. Shiryu and I have been really satisfied by the quality of your works and, especially, by the passion you have showed.

It hasn't been easy to chose ONE winner, because we've really liked every fanwork. They were funny, nice, intense, passionate. We could breath the spirit of Saint Seiya coming from them.

However, we've chosen.

So... here we are!

FANARTS:

1)EDEN's fanart: Nice and original idea. But it's not a fanart, just a colouring work.

2)WIDZILLA's fanart: Very very funny. We've really liked her deformed style. As usual.

3)MARCO ALBIERO's fanart: Technically perfect. It could be used as cover for an ufficial artbook about Saint Seiya Asgard. However, we think it's not really “christmassy”.

4)ARESIELLE's fanart: Wonderful scenario. A charming landscape full of love.

5)SISYPHUS'fanart: Very nice and funny image.

6)OLGA: Sooo funny! We've really liked the colors and the style.

And the winner is...

(well, we should say “the winners are...”)

In one word: passionate. Their fanwork shows that love can live even in the cold and brave nothern lands of Asgard. Maybe just for once in lifetime, maybe just for Christmas, but living that feeling could be the best way to spend your own life.

A very difficult choice because we've really enjoyed every story we've received. They were full of passion and well-constructed.

EVIL SIRYA: A simple and nice story. A long stream of cosciousness about Hilda's frame of mind. The Queen of Asgard's emotions are revealed as they are. Pure and touching. A very careful self-examination. Maybe some words are too baroque and make the story a little bit heavy.

SION DI ARIES: Very nice story, with action, passion and emotions. In perfect Saint Seiya Anime'style. A lot of interesting characters are joined together and we've really liked the couples and their interaction. Maybe the plot is penalized by the short lenght of the story.

And the winner is AXIA.

As usual, wonderful work of the great Italian poetess. Every time she offers us a pleasant story, with a lot of introspection and passion. The hearth of hearths of the characters is reached and the readers could be dragged by the wind of epic and heroic legend that Axia has created with ability and mastery.
