Lost Canvas Volume 7 | Aledileo wrote: | |
This should include chapters 52-60, from Aldebaran's funeral to Manigoldo preparing to face Veronica (and all the awful "Resident Evil chapters" in between).

Aledileo

Oh Yeah! The boring chapters!
|
Shaina
|
But at least they have Manigoldo in there ^_^
|
blackrose22

wish they would get to ones with the scorpio saint.
|
Shiryu
|
It's very likely that he will be the next one to appear. After all, usually gold saints who make a brief cameo earlier on are the ones to receive the spotlight next, and we have seen Scorpio when Aron attacked the Sanctuary

blackrose22

i see.
|
Shaina
|
Well, even though the Scorpio was shown in chapter 44 (I think that was it - too lazy to look it up), we still haven't seen him yet. He seems to be as secretive as his zodiac sign is thought to be...

Shiryu

True, we ended up seeing Capricorn just now. So far, with Aldebaran, Sysiphus and Manigoldo, the gold who had a cameo was always the one to fight next.

He's dead. Gone. Done and dusted. Sagittarius saints are always like that...

True. AND damned lame. Somebody do something... Please! I wanna see golden arrows up into Hypnos' ass...ociates (them dream gods and everything)
|
blackrose22

i would like to see him fight some to with out dying within 10 minutes.
|
Shiryu

He usually doesn't even last 10 minutes, more like 2 or 3... things only change when Seiya is wearing the cloth

Yeah, right...
Nice save ^^

I hope he's still alive... after all, if we think that even Asmita could come back in the future, why the poor sagittar saint should be dead? I think (better, I hope) that he will have an important part in the future of the war. Micene died before the beginning of the classic manga, but he was very important. This poor Sisifo, instead, hasn't done anything important yet...
I'm also very interested in seeing the gold saint of Leo...
|
Shaina
|
Well, one of the LC72 spoilers uranus posted hinted that we might have not seen the last of Sisyphos. Let's wait and hope ^_^
|
Shiryu
|
I too think that Sysiphos will be back at some point But for the moment it's just fun to underline the... shall we say "bad luck" that Sagitter saints have in every series.
Sagittarius is Kurumada's sign, maybe that's where the jinx comes from
|
Shaina
|
Well, their names tell a lot, too - Aiolos from the God of winds - meaning "just a lot of hot air" and Sisiphos - the guy who is condemned to try and never to achieve his objective in the Tartaros... ^_^
I think this is mean and unfair!
|
Frey di Tarantula
|
Well, the god of winds bears a name of uncertain origin, but most believe that Aiolos literally means "Speedy" - I always gave that interpretation to Sagittarius' name.
And Sisiphus, before his reclusion in Tartarus, was widely known as the smartest man of the world (in a somewhat wicked way), managing to trick Death itself into seclusion. Well, maybe we'll see some of this cunning in the future - because as now, there has'nt been the slightest trace of it

there are very few times in the series that people show cunning. its usually just physical strength.

Well, it's Saint Seiya, not Lupin the Third

There is a bit of strategy here and there, and both Saga and Kanon rely on cunning as well as power

Wow! You were indeed lucky you could go there! I would have loved to see those pictures IRL, too. But on the other hand it is a pity that there were mainly b/w images except for that poster you mentioned. But you were lucky to get your Vol.7 signed!

I think he is only quoting someonelse's post ^^ Otherwise he would have written it in english or italian, not spanish.
The art looks nice, not much new though.

Oh, I see. -_-' I have to admit I usually think international as at least in SSF we are used to have users from all imaginable countries, thus I though uranus might have been from some Spanish speaking country and happened to know Italian, too, and thus signed up here ^_^
|
Shiryu
|
Sadly there is not that many people around the world who speak Italian as 2nd language
|
blackrose22
|
i know that but there are times people can be cunning when fighting.
|
Shaina
|
@Shiryu
Much to my chagrin I don't speak Italian as 2nd language either -_-' (more like 4th or so, sorry, that's why I mainly stay with pretty short comments in Italian. But maybe I'll manage to improve in due time.)
|
Shiryu
|
I know, it's not a popular language in the world. English, French, Spanish, Portughese and Chinese are all in front of it
Btw your italian is much better than my norwegian, which should be my 3rd language, so it's good enough ^^
